Glasgow's subway network might not be the most elaborate, but what its simple, circular route map lacks in complexity it more than makes up for in style and so we thought we'd use it to take a journey round some of the best venues the city has to offer.

From the 02 Academy and Barrowland Ballroom (or "Barras", for the initiated...) through to the smaller venues like The Priory and Broadcast which are central to the city's vibrant music scene and hosted early gigs by current superstars Gerry Cinnamon and Lewis Capaldi, Glasgow is home to a plethora of fantastic venues...not to forget King Tut's Wah Wah Hut, a venue which has a near-mythical status in modern musical folklore for its role in the rise of Oasis alone, never mind the litany of other stars who have graced its stage over the years. From global icons to the next big thing, Glasgow's gig venues have you covered on any given night, and you can celebrate some of the best of them with this eye-catching t-shirt.
